How Should Gasoline Be Stored?
Please reflect on whether you observe each of these guidelines for gasoline storage:
Store gasoline
-only in containers approved specifically for that purpose.
-only what is needed in the short term.
-away from the house or mobile home.
-in a cool, well-ventilated area.
-with a Class B fire extinguisher handy.
Note especially our concern about access to gasoline by children. The safest storage location is a locked, but ventilated storage shed away from the house.
