| The ABA monitors changes in the legislative and policy arenas that may affect its membership. Through its annual National Leadership Conference, ongoing communications with government agencies such as the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service and the Consumer Product Safety Commission as well its work with other medical specialty societies, the ABA seeks to keep abreast of these “of the moment” issues - reimbursement, prevention, quality of care - and affect their outcome to benefit burn care providers and institutions with burn centers. |
