The History Manuscript Award, presented by the ABA Archives Committee, honors outstanding scholarly work on key events, individuals, and milestones in burn care or ABA history. Eligible manuscripts must be original works submitted to the Journal of Burn Care & Research. Burn Prevention Poster Contest

The ABA Burn Prevention Poster Contest invites children and young burn survivors to create art that promotes safety, awareness, and hope. Open to all children, including burn camp attendees and survivors, the contest encourages personal expression and community engagement. Winning posters are recognized for creativity, clarity, and positive impact, spreading lifesaving messages in inspiring ways.

ABA Traveling Fellowship

The ABA Traveling Fellowship supports early-career burn surgeons through site visits to burn centers. Open to board-certified or board-eligible surgeons who have completed a burn fellowship, the program fosters collaboration, knowledge exchange, and clinical growth. Fellows pursue projects aligned with their interests and the hosting center’s expertise, enhancing surgical skills and patient care.
