IMPAC Tool to Help Craft Messages

The IMPAC Tool is a free, online resource recommended by ABA to help create burn prevention messages that are clear, inclusive, safe, and effective.

Instead of writing messages for you, it offers a structured way to evaluate and refine your content for maximum impact.

It includes two main parts:

  • Interactive Checklist: Walks you through key questions about your message’s intent, audience, language, and call to action to ensure clarity and focus.

  • Resource Guide: Offers research-backed insights from trusted sources, such as the CDC and NIH, linked directly from the checklist for deeper understanding.
