About the Fellowship:
ELEVATE YOUR EXPERTISE AT OUR ABA-VERIFIED BURN CENTER Texas Tech Health Sciences Center Department of Surgery, Division of Burn Surgery is currently seeking two dedicated physicians for our Burn Fellowship program. This is a rare opportunity to train within a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment where clinical excellence meets cutting-edge innovation. As a fellow, you will gain unparalleled experience in the total management of burn injuries—from initial resuscitation and complex surgical excision to advanced wound coverage and everything in-between. You will work alongside a team of four burn surgeons, four nurse practitioners, PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents, and specialized therapists, ensuring you emerge as a competent and capable physician in the field of burn surgery. Comprehensive Training and Innovation Our fellowship is designed to provide a robust foundation in both adult and pediatric burn care. You will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including a dedicated burn operating room and an intensive care unit equipped with the latest biosynthetic skin substitutes. Beyond the bedside, our program emphasizes the importance of clinical research and academic growth. Whether your interests lie in metabolic response studies, scar management, or public health outreach, we can provide the mentorship and resources necessary to publish and present your findings at national conferences.
