- About the Fellowship:
- The Walter Ingram Burn Center is excited to offer a 1 year burn fellowship position at the only ABA verified Burn Center in Atlanta. We are a very busy service with 34 dedicated burn beds that allow us to care for a range of disorders including acute burns, SJS/TENS, skin and soft tissue disorders, complex wound reconstruction, hidradenitis, inhalation injury and a surprising number of frostbite cases. Our multidisciplinary team dedicated to burn care includes 12 APPs, a dedicated burn psychologist, our burn nurses, therapists, nutritionists and pharmacists as well as a host of learners including residents and students. Our fellow would gain a wide breadth of experience from critical care, acute burn excision and grafting, complex wound care, burn reconstruction, laser therapy, and pediatric burn surgery all within our 2 dedicated burn ORs. There are also opportunities to gain experience in research, leadership and team building, and education.
