The duration of the fellowship is at least one year, with additional time provided based on Fellow needs, to include the possibility of military deployment during the fellowship. Fellows will aim to complete USAF Critical Care Air Transport (CCAT) Team training and to become members of the US Army Burn Flight Team. In addition, Fellows will be supported in initiating and maintaining a general or ACS surgical practice in our hospital system during fellowship. There are ample research opportunities in burns and other aspects of combat casualty care.
