About the Fellowship:
The Indiana University Burn Surgery Fellowship offers two fellow positions. The program is 12-months that focuses on all clinical aspects of acute and reconstructive burn care in adult and pediatric populations, including complex reconstruction and laser therapies. Fellows are involved with burn-specific PI, QI, and M&M conference and there are several long and short-term research opportunities available. To qualify, applicants should have completed a general surgery and/or a plastic surgery residency. Candidates may be considered with a minimum of 3 years of training in general or plastic surgery. Potential to commit to a subsequent 1-year surgical surgical critical care fellowship is possible and a simultaneous interview with the surgical critical care program may be arranged. International applicants are accepted, but only J-1 visas are accepted.
