- About the Fellowship:
- Shriners Children’s Texas (SCT) at Galveston carries out approximately 1,500 reconstructive operations per year, primarily on burn survivors. This fellowship is designed to provide a wide experience covering all aspects of burn reconstruction and scar management - including, but not limited to, flaps (including microsurgery), grafts, laser, total ear reconstruction, vascular malformations and combined complex trauma reconstruction together with our orthopedic surgery colleagues. The fellow will work under the supervision of two plastic surgeons and will be given increased autonomy based on progression throughout the year. The fellow will also be expected to participate in teaching residents and medical students who are assigned to their OR and clinic.

Prerequisites: 2 years minimum of related surgical GME training.
