Join the American Burn Association for an in-depth webinar examining emerging approaches to temporary wound coverage in burn care. This session will explore the clinical role of PermeaDerm®, a temporary biosynthetic wound matrix designed to provide an alternative to human cadaveric allograft while addressing challenges related to availability, cost, storage, and preparation. Speakers will present findings from the PermeaDerm-I randomized controlled trial, including clinical outcomes, economic considerations, and histological evaluation. Attendees will gain valuable insight into how temporary biosynthetic wound coverage may support staged wound management and optimize resource utilization in burn reconstruction.

Attendees will gain insight into:

  • The clinical applications of PermeaDerm® as a temporary biosynthetic wound matrix

  • Results from the PermeaDerm-I randomized controlled trial, including patient outcomes and histological findings
