Rehabilitation Committee Journal Club: Competency and Treatment

Join the American Burn Association’s Rehabilitation Committee for an interactive Journal Club exploring competency-based resources and interprofessional treatment in burn rehabilitation from ABA’s Journal of Burn Care & Research (JBCR). Presenters will discuss the development of clinical competencies for burn speech-language pathologists, a clinical competency tool for burn orthoses, and an interprofessional case study involving a complex circumferential neck burn. The session will conclude with a live Q&A and discussion focused on translating competency frameworks and evidence into clinical practice. Attendees are encouraged to review the featured article and abstracts in advance to support discussion and participation
