Advancing Rehabilitation in Burn Care

Join the American Burn Association’s Burn OT/PT Special Interest Group (SIG) for an interactive session focused on advancing rehabilitation practices in burn care. This meeting will highlight current challenges, innovative strategies, and opportunities for collaboration among burn rehabilitation professionals. Participants will explore ways to enhance functional outcomes, improve patient engagement, and strengthen interdisciplinary communication within the burn care team.

• Current trends and priorities in burn rehabilitation practice

• The importance of teamwork and communication across disciplines

• Opportunities to share experiences and learn from peers in the burn community

Who should attend: Burn rehabilitation professionals, occupational and physical therapists, and all members of the burn care team interested in supporting patient recovery and function.
