Topics: Management of pain in patients with SUDs & Management and Use of Methadone and Buprenorphine for pain

Agenda:

  • 20-minute presentation followed by questions and answers/discussion on the above topics.

  • Plan to discuss future topics/presentations for the next virtual as well as in-person meeting at the Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL.

  • Discuss any interest in creating a group to work with the CPG committee on SUDs/burn-specific CPGs.

Objectives:

  • Provide valuable, practical information that can be put to use in your burn unit.

  • Give the opportunity to think about opportunities to improve the care for this challenging patient population.

  • Provide space to commiserate and vent frustrations as well.
