Burn Surgeon Forum 2025: Advancing Burn Care Together

The American Burn Association’s Burn Surgeon Forum 2025 brought together more than 90 leaders, faculty, and industry partners for two days of rich discussion, collaboration, and innovation this week. With more than 30 expert speakers and participation from 14 industry organizations, the Forum highlighted the strength of a community dedicated to advancing burn care and preparing the next generation of leaders. 

Driving the Future of Burn Care

The events sessions reflected ABA’s Strategic Pillars, showcasing the many dimensions of leadership in burn surgery: 

  • Education – Practical insights and strategies that strengthen both clinical and leadership excellence. 

  • Quality – Conversations on coding, legal considerations, and practice standards that protect patients and sustain care. 

  • Research – Presentations highlighting innovations, data, and emerging science that are shaping tomorrow’s therapies. 

  • Prevention – Awareness of systems, policies, and strategies that reduce risk and keep patients safe.

This balanced approach ensured that participants would leave with not only new knowledge but also stronger connections and a renewed sense of purpose.
