Explore FY25 Military Burn Research Funding: CDMRP Webinar May 7
Monday, May 05, 2025
Members of the burn care and research community interested in federal funding opportunities should plan to attend an upcoming webinar from the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). The session, scheduled for Tuesday, May 7, from 11 a.m. to Noon CT, will outline newly released FY25 funding announcements, including those related to military burn research.
Why This Matters
In March, Congress passed the FY2025 Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, allocating $650 million in funding to CDMRP. This annual investment supports a broad portfolio of research programs addressing high-priority health concerns for military personnel and the public. For FY25, project-level details have been provided for multiple disease-specific areas, including military burn care.
The May 7 webinar will offer a first look at FY25 research opportunities from the following programs:
Military Burn
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
Alzheimer’s Disease
Breast Cancer
Ovarian Cancer
Rare Cancers
The session will include time for live Q&A, allowing applicants to clarify requirements and better understand program goals before submitting proposals.
