National Burn Awareness Week (#NBAW) is taking place from February 1 to 7, 2026, and this year, the focus is on workplace burn safety. From kitchens and laboratories to construction sites and offices, burns can occur anywhere, but prevention begins with awareness and action. The 2025 Burn Camp Poster Contest winners inspire us with their creativity and messages of resilience, reminding us that education and vigilance can make a real difference.
"National Burn Awareness Week is a chance to shine a light on burn awareness and safety in every community,” said Clifford Sheckter, MD, MS, Chair of ABA’s Burn Prevention Committee. “The Poster Contest winners remind us that many voices can inspire real change, and their creativity will help spread life-saving messages far and wide.”
