The Process: From Submission to Survey Launch

1. Submit Your Request

Start by submitting your survey along with the $100 review fee. The ABA Research Committee will review submissions within 7–10 business days.

Surveys must:

  • Be relevant to burn care, research, or education.

  • Have a clear purpose and expected outcome (e.g., publication, thesis).

  • Be designed to produce usable data.

  • Be consistent with ABA’s mission, Code of Conduct, and priorities.

2. Review + Feedback

ABA’s Research Committee may suggest improvements to increase clarity, quality, or relevance. Once approved, you’ll receive confirmation and next steps for payment and scheduling.

3. Distribution

After the distribution fee is received:

  • ABA will schedule your initial email and one reminder email.

  • All survey emails will clarify the purpose, funding source, and note:

    • “This survey has been approved for distribution but not endorsed by ABA.”

  • Survey links must be live at the time of distribution.
