Excellence in Burn Care: 2026 Class of ABA Fellows Inducted at Annual Meeting
Tuesday, April 14, 2026
The recent American Burn Association (ABA) 2026 Annual Meeting formally recognized the 2026 Class of Fellows of the American Burn Association (FABA). This designation promotes excellence and continued commitment to advancing burn care, clarifies the referral process, and helps identify physicians with specialized expertise in burn treatment.
During the ceremony, the newest Fellows were honored with this distinction, which enables physicians to demonstrate specialization in burn care through advanced training, contribution, and commitment to the field. Additionally, the event acknowledged the achievements of past inducted fellows whose collective work has shaped the future of burn care.
"Recognition as a Fellow of the American Burn Association reflects more than individual achievement; it represents a shared commitment to advancing burn care through expertise, leadership, and continued dedication to the patients and communities served," said ABA President, Leopoldo Cancio, MD, FABA. "The 2026 Class of Fellows exemplifies the standards that move the field forward."
The 2026 inductees join an esteemed network of leaders whose work continues to shape the field's future.
